Fetzner Collision Headlines a Packed TOCNYS Rochester Meetup

Hot tips from our members are what often keeps TOCNYS in the forefront of the goings-on with all things Tesla in NY State. And so it was TOCNYS members that alerted us to the facts that...

1. Rochester area's only Tesla-certified body shop, Service King - Henrietta, was no longer certified (thanks Ken E!) and...
   
   
2. Now Fetzner Collision is the new area's-only Tesla-certified body shop (thanks Sheri L!)

Having contacted Fetzner Collision and confirming the news, we were excited to also have them guest star in our then-upcoming Rochester Meetup at Carrabba's Italian Grill. Apparently we weren't the only ones enthusiastic about the event though, as the event quickly reached our cap of 35 registrants!

As one who showed up on time to Saturday's meetup (1pm), I had to check my watch to make sure I hadn't missed a Daylight Savings switchover - TOCNYS' section of the restaurant was already packed with members eager for electrified fellowship (and for food too, I'm sure)!

And in all those humans, it wasn't hard to find the crew from Fetzner Collision, as they were busy meeting/greeting all the TOCNYS members. I'm sure I'm not the only one to be very impressed with their purposefulness and genuine interest they showed to all the attendees. If they treat the vehicles in the shop with the same selfless attitude, owners can relax knowing their cars will be in good hands should their services ever be needed!

After some announcements from Rochester Meetup organizer Rick C. and Cub President Patrick H. and the members given a head-start on the food, the folks from Fetzner took the stage.

Ora shared about how Fetzner shares Tesla's spirits of forward-thinking and excellence. Then Brian Fetzner introduced himself (3rd generation owner) and his son Jack (4th generation). Then after diving into a description of what it takes to be a Tesla-certified body shop, he detailed what the current expected experience is for getting a Tesla fixed. Members then did their thing with good, relevant questions and we were wrapped up in time for dessert.

As a parting gift, Jack Fetzner handed out Fetzner Collision stickers - an appreciated gesture that highlighted the personal touch, with which Fetzner applies to their work. May this be start of a long and mutually beneficial relationship for TOCNYS, its members, and Fetzner Collision!
