Harvest Fest Yields Fun for Tesla Owners

It was a beautiful, crisp fall day in the Finger Lakes of New York when the Hunt Country Vineyards hosted their annual Harvest Fest. It was sunny and 55°, when Suzanne Hunt welcomed visitors, including a number of Tesla owners and the Penfield EVers group. You can see some of the Teslas and other EVs in front of the winery.

With the pandemic precautions, activities were a little different. Nonetheless, wood-fired pizza and wine tastings brought gastronomical pleasures, and Suzanne and her staff lead tours of the highly sustainable operations at Hunt Country.

Especially thrilling was meeting two ladies, Pareese and Celeste, who drove their Model X from Brooklyn and Queens in NYC straight through without a charging stop! They were very pleased to find Tesla chargers at Hunt Country. Pareese is a TOCNYS member.

Pareese shared that this is her second Model X. Her first was destroyed in 2019 after less than a year on the road when a driver ran a stop sign, smashing into her car and pushing it up over a brick wall. Though she and her occupants were injured, she credits her Tesla with saving her life and those of her passengers. There was no question in her mind that she was getting another Model X. You can see Celeste and Pareese next to their blue Model X.

Thanks to Suzanne and the whole Hunt family and staff for a wonderful experience yet again. We'll be back for more enjoyable times at Hunt Country Vineyards.
