Range Anxiety to Lessen in NY Due to More Chargers

Through EVolve NY, the New York Power Authority (NYPA) has committed up to $250 million through 2025 toward reducing greenhouse gas emissions by greatly expanding the EV charging infrastructure in the state.

The initial phase of funding directs $40 million into three new initiatives through the end of 2019: Interstate Fast Chargers (DCFC), Airport Charging Hubs, EV Model Communities. To start off, the goal is to install 200 Fast chargers at strategic locations by 2020.
