FSD Beta Timeline Updates -

This week, Tesla announced the shift from using a combination of radar and cameras for its FSD software to only cameras. The shift will be applied on all new Model 3 & Y cars made beginning in May. The transition to pure vision will also affect older cars, with a software update supposedly coming out in around two weeks to make the change. According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, version 9.0 of the FSD beta will also be released about a week after that. While the change will likely result in great improvements in the future, cars without radar will be limited somewhat in their autopilot capabilities. For example, Teslas made without radar will be limited to a maximum speed of 75 miles per hour, but this will be changed shortly through a software update.

New Cybertruck Information -

A crowdsourced reservation tracker for the upcoming Cybertruck has claimed that Tesla could have over one million reservations for the Cybertruck, which is believable considering that Tesla announced that they had received 250,000 reservations within a week after the unveiling. Also, Tesla recently filed for a patent that would make the retractable bed cover solar paneled which would be a great feature if the car is parked outside in the sun for a long time, or on camping trips to help gain some charge.
