Model Y’s Spotted Testing in Boulder, Colorado
This week, a few Model Y’s were spotted undergoing winter testing in Boulder, Colorado. This is important news as last week, a few Model Y’s were also spotted testing in Minnesota. After Issues occurred with Model 3’s being driven in cold temperatures and snow and road salt would corrode the paint and bodywork, it is great to see that Tesla is making some serious steps to improve such things with the Model Y. With the upcoming production of Model Y, it is very important that things are done right and the quality of the vehicle will be better than any preceding Tesla. Hopefully, with a smooth Model Y launch and impressive vehicle quality, TSLA will continue to rise.
TSLA Q4 Earnings Release Imminent
Speaking of which, after Tesla reported record deliveries for Q4 of 2019, the release of the Q4 earnings has been highly anticipated. In Q4, Tesla delivered 112,000 vehicles and produced 104,891 vehicles. Seeing as deliveries are often a good indicator of what the earnings results will entail, this quarter is shaping up to be great for the stock price. As TSLA is setting records for its stock price almost weekly, other than anything very unexpected being reported in earnings, the stock will likely rise even more.
In addition to the earnings, hopefully, there will be more information announced in the earnings call regarding the upcoming releases of the Semi, Roadster, and Model Y, as well as the rapidly intensifying plans for the factory outside of Berlin. Assuming Tesla is profitable this quarter, this will also be the first time in the history of the company that Tesla has been profitable for two quarters in a row. All in all, everyone should keep an eye on the stock price following the earnings report and earnings call.
Update: Since the writing of this post, TSLA earnings were released, surpassing expectations, and leading to a significant rise in stock price.
